Good! You have decided to invest in lawn care. It is the best use of your time and money. Your lawn is the largest horticultural feature of your property. It makes sense to spend a small fee to maintain it. Now you don’t have to buy fertilizers and equipment. No need to buy it, store it, know when to apply it and how much to apply, or maintain any equipment.

Our Science
Exclusive and unique expertise, all organic. No other company offers all this. We study turf at the university level - weeds, insects, diseases, grass seed and soils. Our organic methods take time but after a few seasons, both the soil and turf are strong. Our motto – “a thick, green and healthy lawn with as few weeds as possible”. Proper lawn care is a challenge. Since the 2008 provincial ban only farms and golf courses have chemicals. There are no legal 100% effective weed killers. The war against grubs and invasive species is harder than ever. The weather is at its most unpredictable, with a record-breaking drought in 2016 and record-breaking rain fall in April 2017.
Our Work
No one else does this: we pull weeds, every visit, especially the seed-bearing weeds. The result is a big and on-going improvement in your lawn. We also use Fiesta and horticultural vinegar to control weeds. We like our work and we take our time to do a good job for you.
Our Reasonable Prices
Pricing must be fair for both of us! Please consider our on-going expenses: 2 man teams, vans, equipment- spreaders, mowers, trimmers, aerators, sprayers, soil testing equipment, vehicle and $5 million property liability insurance, office overhead, maintenance, gas, taxes, business license, wages, workmen‘s compensation, trips to the suppliers - horticultural memberships and education.
You will find others who charge more and charge less. The “low-ballers” and student workers often just disappear before the season is over. Others want to be paid in cash, or have no business license or insurance. We strive to provide the best prices but prices will go up each year as our costs increase. The lawn is the major horticultural feature of most properties, that’s curb appeal, it is the first impression people will see. Our information will show you that some “nice” looking lawn may not be healthy and that lawn care companies are not all the same!
How? Like they say “You don’t know—what you don’t know”! We will share with you our special ways, the Kensington Advantage¬ unlike most, we use organic products and procedures that are safe for people, pets and the environment. We are better and different. Our weed-pulling is 100% effective. We have always been organic even before the 2008 provincial ban that brought awareness of toxic, cancer -causing pesticides. Summers are getting longer, hotter and drier making it far harder to have a nice lawn, so that water and rain is much more vital! Climate change and the pesticide ban has changed how we care for your lawn. The battle is never over.

Our premium, complete service, weed controls, fertilizer, aeration, over seeding, enriched top soil, assessments and laboratory soil test.
6 Visits and 13 Treatments
$649 plus $84.37 HST = $733.347
*Lawn care starting prices for average size property and average conditions for basic lawn care: More for larger or weedy lawns. * We may add or skip some treatments depending on conditions. All treatments are at our discretion. Whether new or renewing, please confirm: no automatic renewals. We do not start until we hear from you! Membership is limited. Surcharges will apply if our costs go up during the season.
You can combine both mowing and lawn care (fertilizer and weed controls) billed monthly.
